Gillette Encourages Men to Grow Their Mustaches and Join the Fight Against Prostate Cancer

More than 3 million men in the United States are currently living with prostate cancer or experiencing life after it.1

Each November, men everywhere grow their mustaches in support of Movember, a cultural phenomenon and global nonprofit dedicated to men’s health. This year, Gillette is teaming up with Movember to raise awareness and donations for the fight against Prostate Cancer.


Participating in Movember is about more than just growing a mustache—it’s about standing strong for a cause. This act of solidarity doesn’t have to come at the cost of comfort with Gillette’s superior line of men’s grooming tools. From October 27, 2024, to January 4, 2025, Procter & Gamble will donate a portion of proceeds from select Gillette product purchases to Movember.*


Did you know Prostate Cancer is the leading cancer in men over 45 years old? 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer at some point in their lives1. Through activism and research, Movember aims to support and guide these men through their journey, and Gillette is here to support them, one mustache at a time.


If you’re 50 years or over, it’s important to talk to your doctor about your health and any tests you may need as part of your check-ups. African Americans and those with a family history of prostate cancer are at elevated risk and should talk with a doctor earlier, at 40 to 45 years1.
